The accident happened at junction 5 of the M53. The blue trike stopped as the lights changed, his mate just wasn't paying attention, he didn't even touch the brakes. He was in a lot of pain, but it eased quite a bit before the ambulance arrived and he just wanted to know if his bike was ok. After an examination by the paramedics he was carried off on a spinal board as a precaution, they didn't think that there was anything to worry too much about.
